The Long Beach Aquatics Federation is an independent aquatics club organized as to promote development of aquatics sports (water polo and competitive swimming) in Long Beach, California.
Through the programs operated by its highly qualified coaching staff, the Federation will serve youth, high school, and adult water polo players and swimmers, providing them with a venue and opportunity to participate in the sports of water polo and swimming year-round. The programs will offer regular workouts & scrimmages to enable participants to get and stay in shape, maintain or further develop their skills, and if desired, compete. For those interested in competing, one or more teams will be formed, and the team(s) will enter tournaments and meets appropriate for the level of players on the team [eg: youth, high school, collegiate (including 20 & under), open, masters, & other age groups corresponding to USA Water Polo and Swimming guidelines. The Federation’s ultimate goal is to develop lifelong members by offering male and female water polo players and swimmers of all ages an opportunity to become and remain involved in their sports.
The existing Long Beach High School water polo and swim programs will continue to operate during their respective regular CIF high school seasons. Long Beach Aquatics Federation is not affiliated with any Long Beach High School Athletic program.
In order to be able to practice and play in games during the club season athletes must be current members of USA Water Polo. This membership requires you to go to the USA Water Polo Website and register as an athlete and part of a club. This requires a fee that goes to USA Water Polo and is separate from our club.
When registering with USA Water Polo you will join Long Beach Aquatics Federation in the Coastal California Zone. Club # 35236.
